This tool provides a simplified ELO-based preliminary calculation for USCF rating changes. The official USCF system may include Glicko-based calculations, bonus points, rating floors, and special rules. The value shown may differ from the official USCF record.

للاعبين بدون تصنيف USCF

For players without a USCF rating, the tool calculates an estimated initial rating using results against rated opponents throughout the tournament: R = Opponent Average + ((Wins − Losses) / Games) × 400. This calculation requires at least 4 games. The official starting rating is determined by US Chess rules on valid game count, provisional rating, bonuses, and other evaluation criteria.

E = 1 / (1 + 10^((Rb - Ra) / 400))

التصنيف الجديد:

R'a = Ra + K × (S - E)

Simplified K factors: K=32 under 2100, K=24 for 2100–2400, K=16 from 2400. The official USCF system applies different coefficients.
