Over deze calculator

This calculator provides an ELO-based preliminary calculation for ECF rating changes. The official ECF rating is finalised by the English Chess Federation.

For players without an ECF rating, the tool can show a starting performance based on results against rated opponents. The official starting rating is subject to ECF rules.

E = 1 / (1 + 10^((Rb - Ra) / 400))

Nieuwe rating:

R'a = Ra + K × (S - E)

Simplified coefficients: K=40 for fewer than 30 games, K=20 for established players. The official ECF system follows standard ELO calculations.
