This calculator processes the player and game data you enter according to UKD calculation principles and provides a preliminary calculation. The official UKD score is finalised after tournament results are processed by the Turkish Chess Federation.

For Unrated Players

For players without a UKD score, the tool calculates a provisional performance value using results against rated opponents. The official first UKD score is determined by TSF.

How UKD Rating Works

R'a = Ra + K × (S - E)

Simplified coefficients: K=40 for fewer than 30 games, K=20 below 2400, K=10 from 2400.

How is UKD calculated?

UKD rating change is determined using the player's current UKD, the opponent's UKD, the expected score, the actual game result, and the applicable calculation coefficient. Changes from valid games in a tournament are applied to the total UKD score.

This tool processes the entered player and game information according to UKD calculation rules and provides a preliminary estimate. The calculation is based on mathematical rules; however, the official UKD score is only finalized by the Turkish Chess Federation after tournament results are processed.

How is the initial performance of an unrated player calculated?
