About This Calculator

This calculator processes the player and game data you enter according to UKD calculation principles and provides a preliminary calculation. Enter your current UKD score, opponent details, and game results to see the calculated score change. The official UKD score is finalised after tournament results are processed by the Turkish Chess Federation.

For Unrated Players

For players without a UKD score, the tool uses the results achieved against rated opponents and their scores to calculate a provisional performance value. This value helps indicate the player's likely starting level; the official first UKD score is determined by TSF in accordance with the applicable games and calculation procedure.

How UKD Rating Works

Expected Score:

E = 1 / (1 + 10^((Rb - Ra) / 400))

New UKD:

R'a = Ra + K × (S - E)

Simplified coefficients used in this tool: K=40 for players who have not yet completed 30 games, K=20 for players rated below 2400, and K=10 for players rated 2400 and above.
