About This Calculator

This calculator provides a preliminary calculation based on the standard ELO method for showing AICF rating changes. The official rating is finalised in accordance with the federation's records and applicable evaluation rules.

For Players Without AICF

For players without an AICF rating, the tool can show a starting performance based on results against rated opponents. The official starting rating is subject to the federation's applicable game count, publication, and special evaluation rules.

How AICF Rating Works

Expected Score:

E = 1 / (1 + 10^((Rb - Ra) / 400))

New Rating:

R'a = Ra + K × (S - E)

Simplified coefficients used in this tool: K=40 for players who have not yet completed 30 games, K=20 for players rated below 2400, and K=10 for players rated 2400 and above.
