This calculator uses the RCF rating formula of the Russian Chess Federation. The RCF system follows the standard ELO calculation method used internationally.
If you don't have an RCF rating, the system can use estimated starting / performance value calculation logic based on rated opponents and match results. Official federation systems may include additional rules for new or unrated players. Therefore, results are approximate only.

RCF uses K=40 for new players (under 30 games), K=20 for players rated below 2400, and K=10 for players rated 2400+.
