This calculator uses the FFE rating formula of the French Chess Federation (Fédération Française des Échecs). The FFE system follows the standard ELO calculation method.
If you don't have an FFE rating, the system can use estimated starting / performance value calculation logic based on rated opponents and match results. Official federation systems may include additional rules for new or unrated players. Therefore, results are approximate only.

FFE uses K=40 for new players (under 30 games), K=20 for players rated below 2400, and K=10 for players rated 2400+.
